All About Us
We are a family-run, fully licensed dog breeders, living in the beautiful Welsh countryside along the heritage coastline. We have a busy, loving home, with our three young boys, long hair miniature dachshunds and more recently our Welsh springer spaniel Ivy. As a family, we love to get out into the countryside and explore the Welsh heritage coast with our dogs and often spend hours at the beach playing as a family.
All of our dogs live in the home with us where they are never short of a lap to sit on or someone to play fetch with.
Having grown up in an agricultural environment and having always been around animals, Lucy learned how to care for and raise animals from a very young age. Having always had dogs in the family growing up, it was in 2012 that we introduced our first dog into our own home and our family has grown since then.
Our dogs
We usually have around four to five litters a year, however, this can vary from year to year. We predominantly breed long hair cream & shaded cream miniature dachshunds, however, we do occasionally have other colours available. All of our dachshunds are true miniature dachshunds with our adults weighing 3.2KG – 4.8KG. All our girls are KC registered and PRA clear. After lengthly discussions with our vets we have decided not to IVDD test, however, as far as we’re aware there have been no cases in any of the lines we breed from. Buzz is our gorgeous stud, weighing 4.7KG. He’s KC registered & PRA clear, with a coat colour of e/e and i/i, meaning he is a true cream miniature dachshund. He’s a fantastic stud dog and has sired many puppies, even some as far away as Australia. We have two of his gorgeous girls Mali & Tippy.
We are often asked how well dachshunds get on with other breeds. In 2022 we introduced our gorgeous welsh springer spaniel Ivy. she has been a fantastic addition to our family and very gentle and loving with all of our dachshunds.
All of our dogs have extremely kind, loving natures, each having their own unique personality, meaning they all have different food, sleeping, and walking preferences. One thing they do all have in common is that they love their daily walks, and have at least one hour of exercise each day whether that’s running around and playing in our fields, exploring the beaches, common, walking around the lanes, or woodland.
